MVA WITH ENTRAPMENT

On Wednesday 11/06/2024 just after 1700hrs, Blandon Fire Company along with Muhlenberg Twp Fire & Rescue were dispatched to the intersection of Allentown Pike and Snyder Rd in Maidencreek Twp for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment and fire. A total of 4 vehicles were involved with 2 victims entrapped in separate vehicles. The first victim was extricated within 7 minutes of arrival while the second within 9. A total of 6 ALS (Advanced Life Support) EMS units were dispatched to assist with patient care. Allentown Pike remained closed in both directions for approximately 2 hours while emergency crews operated. #blandonfire
