MUHLENBERG TWP STRUCTURE FIRE

Around 2200 on Thursday 10/26/2023, Engine 12 was dispatched by Berks County Department of Emergency Services to the structure fire assignment in the 100 block of Jefferson St, Muhlenberg Township. Reading Engine 9, Reading Ladder 3, and Medic 5604 arrived on scene to find a three story middle of the row town home with smoke from the 2nd floor. RE9, and RL3’s crew immediately completed primary searches of the structure, initiated fire attack and extinguished the fire. E12 arrived on scene and assisted with secondary searches, utility control, overhaul, ventilation, and atmospheric monitoring. E12 operated on scene for approximately one hour. #blandonfire
